About us

The Story

Reform is a start-up focused on the design, research, and development of circular biobased products that are made from materials retrieved from the waste streams. It was founded by Ir. Snehal Hannurkar in 2023 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

At Reform, we foster collaborative thinking to reinvent the value of material thrown as trash, by creating innovative and circular products using them. We connect the end of the lifecycle of one material to the beginning of another. We REform the waste into new circular and biobased products.

In this process, we join hands with municipalities, waste managing/collecting companies, and social ateliers to increase awareness about circularity in the public. Such collaborations help introduce standardized circular waste management for cities in a very productive and efficient manner.

The journey of REform began with its first product the Gypxel circular acoustic tiles made from gypsum, sheep wool, and recycled fabric. The product was first conceptualized and presented by Ir. Snehal Hannurkar as a part of a circularity competition held by Bluecity, Rotterdam, where it won the Runner-up position. It was further developed by Snehal as a pilot project for the Municipality of Nissewaard, The Netherlands, in collaboration with Reinis and Voorne Putten Werkt.

We are looking forward to continue developing such products and collaborations within the Netherlands and India.
